2023 - 2024 Adult Winter Basketball

League Information

• 18 years old and up
• Games begin November 2023 and will tentatively run through February 2024
• Games will be held at the Edison Johnson Recreation Center on Mondays and Wednesdays

League Fees

• $475 per team
• Additional $12 non-city resident fee per person

Team Registration

• Registration: September 25 - October 20, 2023
• Registration can be completed online or in person at the Durham Parks and Recreation Administration Office located at 400 Cleveland Street, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. after the Team Registration form is submitted and you have been contacted by the league coordinator
• Coaches / Captains - please fill out the Team Registration Form (PDF) and send to Jordan Brown
• Coach’s / Captain’s meeting-TBD
• Only team registrations will be accepted.

Basketball Community Open Play Days

DPR offers free Community Open Play Days on designated outdoor basketball courts. The Community Open Play is designed to give free basketball court access to all individuals and families. Courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we ask that you limit play to 1 hour while others are waiting. Lights will be on an automatic schedule or they can be turned on by a push button/switch. 

Basketball Community Open Play Days will be offered at the following parks:

• Bethesda Park
• Sherwood Park
• Southern Boundaries Park
• Morreene Road Park
