- Youth Tennis Lessons
Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) offers tennis lessons to teach the fundamentals of the game. The lessons will review basic strokes and scoring as well as tennis strategies. Participants should wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing and bring a tennis racquet and water.
All participants, including spectators, will be held to the standards listed in our code of conduct.

DGSL is looking for volunteer head coaches and assistant coaches for the fall and spring! Please fill out the Volunteer Application Form and an Athletics staff member will be in touch. View the volunteer expectations.

Participants will learn intermediate tennis skills. All participants should have some established skill and experience playing tennis. All equipment is provided; participants should bring water and wear tennis shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
September 19 - Oct. 5, 2023
Participants will receive a racquet and a can of tennis balls for attending four out of the six sessions.
