The Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) Mature Adults staff offers a host of programs and activities for persons 55 or better. Participants can travel, get fit, and/or learn something new all while meeting new friends!

Mature Adult Programs

For a list of the current Mature Adult programs pick up a copy of the Play More Guide at any facility, the administration office, or view online. Mature Adult programs are also searchable on our online registration site.

Durham Senior Games

The Durham Senior Games (DSG) is an Olympic style event designed to create year-round health promotion and competition for participants that are 50+ years old. Participants compete in a variety of events each spring. Learn more on the Durham Senior Games page.

N.C. Senior Games

The N.C. Senior Games is a year-round program dedicated to health promotion and education. Serving over 60,000 participants in all 100 counties across the state, the N.C. Senior Games offer physical activities and silver arts competitions for persons 50 years of age and above.
