Bird Island Paddle Trip

Join us for a trip to Bird Island along the NC/SC coastline. We will paddle through the marsh and work our way out to the coast. Expert ornithologists from the Audubon Society will be there to help identify the diverse and beautiful birds found near the coast. After our paddle we will go out for a seafood dinner. The paddle will involve; paddling across the intercostal waterway, paddling against the tide, and paddling in windy conditions. Equipment and boats will be provided. Dress for the weather. Participants will leave and return to Morreene Road Recreation Center. 

Pre-registration required. Ages 10 and up.
