Construction at West Point on the Eno Park

The second phase of the Eno River Sewer Project is underway. The City is replacing a deteriorated sewer line from the 1970s that is undersized for the current and future development in northern Durham. Work is currently taking place on the north side of the Eno River, just above the dam, in West Point on the Eno Park. Park users should adhere to the signs and avoid areas around the construction site as heavy machinery, and occasional blasting will occur through July.

As Westbound Mountains-to-Sea Trail (MST) users come under the Roxboro Road pedestrian bridge, they will encounter fencing identifying the construction entrance. Further west, just above the dam, a short section of MST is in the work area and is off-limits to users. Thank you in advance for your patience as we work to improve the City’s infrastructure. Visit the Eno River Sewer Replacement - Phase II page for more information about the project.
