Campus Hills Park

Campus Hills Park surrounds the Irwin R. Holmes, Sr. Recreation Center at Campus Hills.

Baseball Field Renovations

Renovations to the baseball field include the installation of new lighting, a new water line, and an irrigation system. This project has been completed, but the field will remain closed to allow the sod to take root. The field is projected to reopen to the public in mid-June 2021.

Park History

Property for this park was purchased from the Inscoe family (in fact, the site was initially called Inscoe Park). The Inscoe family has been associated with Durham history since the mid-nineteenth century.
