Rock Quarry Park

Rock Quarry Park spans over 46 acres and is home to many festivals and events.

The Edison Johnson Recreation Center, Aquatics Center, and Sprayground are all located within Rock Quarry Park property. In between the recreation center and aquatics center sits a playground, sprayground, picnic tables, and a grill. There is a short trail that connects the recreation and aquatic centers to the large field and tennis courts.

New Park Amenities Coming Soon!
Rock Quarry Park will receive some new park amenities to include:

• stage platform with electrical service upgrades
• accessible path
• planted stormwater basin
• water service
• stream bank restoration
• new 12’ wide bridge and park entrance over Ellerbee Creek near the National Guard Armory
• sculpture art structure
• dog park

Renovations will take place through mid-May, weather permitting. During construction, residents should avoid any activity on the field as there will be heavy equipment, demolition, earthmoving, and paving in the park. No impact to the tennis courts is anticipated.
